Getting Started

Getting Started

4 questions
What is Revive Hive?
Revive Hive is a wellness and recovery lounge in Newtown, PA. We bring modern recovery therapies together in one calm, spa-level space: cryotherapy, red light therapy, infrared and traditional sauna, cold plunge, PEMF, stretch, massage, and medically supervised peptide therapy, plus supporting tools like HyperIce compression and a vibration plate.
I've never done recovery therapy before. Where should I start?
A great starting point is whatever matches your main goal. Cryotherapy is popular for muscle soreness, sauna and cold plunge for a full reset, and red light or PEMF for gentle, passive support. When you book, tell us your goals and our team will recommend the right first session. First-timers are always welcome.
Do I need to book in advance?
Booking ahead is the best way to get the time and therapy you want, and you can book online or by calling 215-902-9797. If you're not sure which service fits, reach out first and we'll help you choose before you book.
Is cold therapy beginner-friendly?
Yes. Most of our clients started as first-timers. For cryotherapy and cold plunge, our team walks you through every step, stays with you, and makes sure you feel comfortable and in control the whole time. Cold exposure isn't right for everyone, so we'll also flag anything worth checking with your doctor.

6 questions
What treatments does Revive Hive offer?
Revive Hive offers cryotherapy, red light therapy, infrared and traditional sauna, cold plunge, PEMF therapy, and massage (Swedish, deep tissue, restorative, prenatal, postpartum, and lymphatic drainage), plus medically supervised peptide therapy and supporting tools like HyperIce compression, a vibration plate, and stretch therapy, all in Newtown, PA.
How long does a cryotherapy session take?
A whole-body cryotherapy session takes about three minutes. It's quick by design, so it's easy to fit into your day or pair with another therapy at our Newtown lounge.
What is the difference between an infrared sauna and a traditional sauna?
An infrared sauna warms your body directly with infrared light and tends to feel gentler at a lower air temperature. A traditional sauna heats the air around you for a more intense, classic high-heat experience. Both are associated with relaxation and recovery, so the best choice comes down to how you like your heat.
What is contrast therapy?
Contrast therapy means moving between heat and cold in one visit, usually sauna followed by a cold plunge. The back-and-forth is associated with supporting circulation and recovery, and most people find it more satisfying than heat or cold alone.
Which massage should I choose?
It depends on your goal: Swedish for relaxation, deep tissue for stubborn tension, restorative therapeutic for a tailored session, prenatal or postpartum for expecting and new mothers (with your provider's okay), and lymphatic drainage for a light, soothing session. Tell us your goals and we'll match you with the right therapist.
Can I combine treatments in one visit?
Yes. Many clients pair therapies, like sauna with a cold plunge, or cryotherapy with compression. Our team will help you build a combination that fits your goals and your schedule.

Peptide Therapy

Peptide Therapy & Medical Supervision

4 questions
Is Revive Hive medically supervised?
Our medically supervised services are overseen by Dr. Aaron Shapiro, a double board-certified physician and our medical director. This applies to the services that call for medical judgment, most notably peptide therapy. Revive Hive is a wellness and recovery lounge, not a medical clinic, and we're clear about that distinction.
What is peptide therapy?
Peptide therapy at Revive Hive is a medically supervised wellness program, prescribed and overseen by our board-certified medical director. It begins with a consultation, because it's a physician-guided service rather than a session you book off a menu. Many clients explore it as part of a broader recovery and wellness plan.
Is peptide therapy safe, and do I need a consultation?
A consultation is required before any peptide therapy. Our medical director reviews your health history and determines whether it's appropriate for you before anything begins. That medical review is exactly why the consultation comes first. Peptide therapy is a wellness service, not a treatment for any medical condition.
What may peptide therapy help support?
People explore peptide therapy for support with recovery, energy, sleep, and overall wellness as part of a guided plan. Individual experiences vary, and it isn't a substitute for medical care, which is why your physician discusses what's realistic for you during the consultation.
Memberships

Memberships & Pricing

5 questions
Do I need a membership, or can I book single sessions?
Both work. You're welcome to book single sessions any time. If recovery becomes a regular part of your routine, a membership gives you better pricing and priority access to the therapies you use most. There's no requirement to join.
How much do memberships cost at Revive Hive?
There's a range to fit different routines. Downstairs Unlimited is $249/month and covers every therapy on the main floor. Whole Building Unlimited is $279/month and adds the private upstairs room with the traditional sauna and cold plunge. UNO is $129/month for unlimited use of one therapy, and the Flex Pass is $89/month plus $10 per therapy. Structured multi-month programs are also available. Each plan lists exactly what's included.
How much does cryotherapy cost in Newtown, PA?
Cryotherapy is included in several memberships, including Downstairs Unlimited, Whole Building Unlimited, and the single-therapy UNO membership. For current single-session pricing, call us at 215-902-9797 or check when you book online, and we'll help you find the most affordable option for how often you plan to come.
Do memberships require a long-term commitment?
Many don't. The Downstairs Unlimited, Whole Building Unlimited, Flex Pass, and UNO memberships are month-to-month with no long-term commitment, and you can cancel anytime. The structured programs run for a set 3 or 6 month term. We'll help you pick the option that fits.
Can I buy a membership or session as a gift?
Yes. Gift packages are available and easy to redeem at our Newtown lounge. They're a popular choice for athletes, busy parents, and anyone who could use some recovery time.
